The Municipality of Kincardine is taking a proactive approach to economic development, moving ahead with the acquisition of around 21 develop-able acres known as the Gary Street lands.
This will be used to support future investment, job creation and long term economic growth.
The municipalities Business Retention and Expansion survey found availability of development land as on the of the top challenges facing businesses with this acquisition helping address this barrier.
Alan Smith, CAO says this is about looking ahead, ensuring Kincardine is well positioned to attract investment and create opportunities for future generations.
