The Municipality of Kincardine and Bruce Power have inked an infrastructure and community readiness agreement for the Bruce C Project.
This four year deal provides $2.2 million in funding to support strategic planning and municipal readiness initiatives to prepare for the coming project.
Mayor Kenneth Craig says Kincardine has decades of experience hosting major nuclear projects and early planning is essential to getting it right.
The agreement will support Kincardine’s work to assess and prepare for the potential long term impacts and opportunities coming with this large infrastructure project.
