The Municipality of Kincardine are welcoming two new people to their Strategic Initiatives Department.
Jessie McGibbon is the new Communications Coordinator while Cherie Leslie is being brought on as the new Community Economic Development Coordinator.
In a news release, McGibbon will be tasked to improve communications and engagement with the public.
She will help in creating a Communications and Engagement Plan to increase public awareness of Municipal initiatives and services, providing the public with information they need to better understand, and participate in local government.
Leslie will be supporting the work outlined in the Economic Development Strategy which includes actions to support local business retention and expansion, examine housing needs, support agriculture, and capitalize on nuclear supply chain opportunities, among other goals.
