The downtown Kincardine BIA is on board with the Sunday only promenade.
Manager Rick Clarke says this is welcome news for downtown merchants.
Council on Monday reinstated the promenade this summer which involves the closure of Queen Street between Durham Market and Lambton Street to vehicular traffic.
Clarke says he understands not everyone was comfortable having the promenade on both the Saturday and Sunday.
He says they will work with what they have to make this summer a wonderful experience for businesses and visitors.
