The Downtown Kincardine BIA sent an advisory out to all it’s members this afternoon advising Employees to Save Downtown Parking Spots for Customers.
They say that parking on Queen Street can be challenging so it’s important, especially during prime retail season, to keep downtown parking spots available to customers.
They ask that employees of Businesses in Downtown Kincardine use off street parking in the municipal lots when reporting to work.
They add that neighbouring municipalities have instituted 2 or 3 hour parking limits and that it is something the Board will be discussing in the New Year.
