Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation raise Capital Fundraising Goal to $18 Million

The Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation has increased its goal for its current capital fundraising campaign to $18 million dollars.

The revised goal reflects the addition of an MRI machine to the hospital redevelopment plans.

The campaign entitled “Building Heath Care for Generations” would also see expanded laboratory services, improved admissions & waiting areas as well as a larger emergency department.

Local businesses are already signally their commitment to the project through multi-year commitments.

Hurontel has signed a 5 year agreement to give $500,000 to the campaign, with other large donors expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

The new Medical Imaging Department will be named after Bruce Power, which along side its suppliers, have pledged $2 million dollars.
