Huron County OPP have charged a Kincardine resident with impaired operation after an incident in Port Albert last month.
On Tuesday, Sept. 21 around 4 p.m. officers responded to Drury Line and North Street in Port Albert to check on a driver that appeared to be passed out in his pickup truck.
Upon arrival police located the driver standing beside his vehicle and upon speaking with the man, noticed he was displaying signs of impairment.
The 41-year-old was placed under arrest and was transported the detachment for further testing, where he was twice found to be over the legal limit.
The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for Nov. 7 in Goderich.
