Kincardine Fire Responds to 2 Fires Over Easter Weekend

A busy weekend for Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services who responded to two fires over the Easter weekend.

The first call came in on March 29th just before 11am with a structure fire at the Kincardine Motel which saw assistance from the Ripley Huron Fire Department and South Bruce OPP.

Crews found along with the motel, a travel trailer on the property was also involved in the blaze. There were no injuries with the fire not suspicious in nature.

On March 30th at 10:21am, Station 12 responded to a car fire on Queen Street with South Bruce OPP.

Fire crews extinguished the fire which is a result of an engine component.

There was also no reported injuries.
