The Royal Canadian Legion in Kincardine is celebrating the Legions 100th Birthday by unveiling a Veterans Crosswalk in town.
Taking place on Friday, the Legion will hold a formal dedication ceremony of the new commemorative Remembrance Crosswalk.
Funded by the municipality, the Lest We Forget crosswalk features a design of two soldiers cast against grey and white stripes.
A dedication will be held at 2:30pm on July 1th at the West side crossing of Lambton Street and Huron Terrace.
