A 26-year-old from Kincardine has pleaded guilty to a fatal crash that occurred last November.
West Grey Police responded to a call about a stolen pickup on November 7th.
The truck was seen driving at speeds of 150 kilometres per hour and when the driver had run over a tire deflation device, it struck a car traveling in the opposite direction which killed a 40-year-old male and seriously injured a 14-year-old girl as well as the driver of the suspect vehicle.
Jeremy Hogg was charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death, 2 counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Robbery and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
Hogg plead guilty in court and was sentenced to 7 months in prison, 9 months of pre-sentence custody as well as a lifetime firearms ban.
Hogg also has been given a 20-year driving prohibition and a court-ordered DNA sample.
