There is a new app out created by a Kincardine resident.
TapeReal is a social media platform designed to distribute thoughtful, meaningful content while allowing creators to control what they create.
Founder and CEO Ali Shah gives us some examples of what people can see on TapeReal.
Shah describes his app a cross between TikTok and YouTube.
He says TapeReal is different compared to other social media platforms where it puts the creator first and privacy first.
Shah says he wants TapeReal to be a place where people can build communities and truly connect.
The app is currently available for the iPhone.
