The Kincardine Women’s Triathalon returned this weekend after a two year absence.
Frigid Lake Huron temperatures meant organizers had to alter the race to a duathlon on the Saturday morning, with racers doing two legs of a 3km run along with a 12 km bike.
Victoria Sandre of Southampton won the race, with a time of 52 minutes and 10 seconds, Nicole Murphy of London and Laura Sandre of Walkerton rounded out the top 3.
Though organizers were disappointed not to have a swim element, everyone was pleased to see the event return.
