The Municipality of Kincardine is working to develop a new Water & Wastewater Master Plan.
The previous plan from 2018 is being revised due to residential & non-residential growth, additional development proposals and new & upgraded infrastructure within the systems.
Under current consideration is expansion of the Kincardine Water Treatment Plant, as there is an anticipated need based on potential growth combined with possibly adding Bruce Power as a water customer.
The Municipality has issued a 30-day public review period. During this time comments will be addressed as well as the presentation of the final draft of the Water & Wastewater Master Plan to Council in September.
