The Kincardine hospital’s new CT scanner should be fully operational by March, meaning residents will not longer have to travel for diagnostic imaging.
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre provided an update on two big capital projects to close out the year, noting that construction of the CT scanner suite should wrap up in February before the machine arrives at the end of that month. The target go-live date is March 20.
They’re also continuing to get approval from the Ministry of Health for 34,000 square foot expansion of the hospital, that is slated to start in 2025.
To share more info on these projects, they’ll be holding a virtual info session over Zoom on Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
