The Kincardine to Inverhuron Provincial Park (KIPP) Trail is nearing completion after 10 years of development.
The trail will be the first in Kincardine’s Ward 2 and connects riders with Stoney Island Conservation Area, the Inverhuron Mountain Bike Park and finally the provincial park.
Brad Kirkonnell from the Kincardine trails committee says there was lots of obstacles in completing the project, including missed grant funding and struggles with routing gas lines, but he’s pleased it’s nearing an end.
The trail should be completed by late summer or early fall.
