The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 333 in Flesherton-Markdale has been putting their Ontario Trillium Foundation grant to good use.
The Legion benefited from a $39,700 Resilient Communities Fund Grant from the provincial government which has been used to upgrade the kitchen facilities and buildings overall accessibility.
MPP Rick Byers visited the Legion to see the updates from the grant which was awarded over two years ago.
The kitchen facilities have been modernized, new appliances including new ranges, commercial refrigerators and a commercial dishwasher being purchased.
The existing washrooms were also updated with 40 new chairs bought for the hall.
