The Lake Huron Coastal Centre’s recently received a $36,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund.
This grant will enable the centre to work on new marketing and fundraising strategies, while providing staff with opportunities to expand their skill sets.
The grant announcement coincided with an opportunity to celebrate the end their new Coastal Conservation Youth Corps program, which was funded by an earlier, $205,000 OTF grant awarded back in 2020.
The deadline for the next round of OTF resilient community fund applications is Dec. 7.
