The lanes are open at the US border for fully vaccinated Canadians to enter as the border closure which has been in place since March of 2020 ends.

Non essential traffic will now start up again in both directions.

As the rules still state however, a negative COVID-19 test will be required to enter back into Canada which is no older than 72 hours.

Children under 18 years old will be exempt from the vaccine requirement so long as they are traveling with a fully vaccinated adult.

Fully vaccinated travelers could also be randomly selected for a COVID-19 test at the border.
