The Huron County Public Library are getting an honour from the Ontario Library Association.
They are receiving the Archival Preservation Achievement Award for their Huron County Digitized Newspaper project.
The award recognizes the significant achievements in the field of preservation and conservation of library and archival materials.
The library began digitizing more than 350,000 local newspapers and magazine pages from microfilm and hard copies spanning over 100 years in 2014.
The collection can be accessed online for free.
