MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson was reappointed as Minister of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs in the naming of Cabinet for the next term of the Provincial Government.
Thompson says she is very honoured to be reappointed and be able to continue to serve the people. She adds that she is committed to continuing their good work to support the province’s agri-food sector and rural Ontario.
She closed the statement by saying that Rural Ontario and the agri-food sector has her committment to work with them in the days, months and years ahead.
Thompson has previously held the portfolios of Government and Consumer Services and Minister of Education.
