Yesterday, members of the Kincardine Lions All-Wheels Park Committee attend the Lions Park to receive a generous personal donation towards the project.
Duncan & Lesley Hawthorne are donating $10,000 towards the project which would see it designed for use by all recreational wheels including skateboards, bikes and more.
It would be for youth in the community with a variety of skill levels.
The features of the site would include a skate bowl and a pump track. The park would be around 7,000 square feet in size.
The fundraising goal by the Kincardine Lions for the All-Wheels Park campaign is just over $500,000.
