A local business in Egmondville announced it is shutting down due to issues with its location and adhering to Huron East bylaws.
Mill Road Produce has been operating a self-serve fruit & vegetable stand from the intersection of Kippen and Mill Road for over 8 years but had a complaint logged against last November.
The stay-at-home mom who operates the stand offered various scenarios to By-Law officials but none met the requirements.
She added operating it allows her to raise her family and teach a strong work ethic.
It provided an outlet for produce they had grown on their farm in Brucefield, as well Amish and Mennonite producers in the area.
