The Back Road Ramblers Riding Club will be staying put this weekend, as they hold their annual food drive in Kincardine.

The club will be collecting canned goods, essentials and monetary donations for the local food bank.

This is the fourth year the club has been holding the drive and club president Andy Rutledge says it’s more important than ever.

“We’re usually around the $3,000 mark for the amount of food and money that’s raised,” he says. “I understand this year more than ever, people are using the food bank. I’m glad to say it’s getting less of a stigma… so we’re happy to see it used more and we’re certainly happy to do our part of things at our end.”

The food drive will be running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dyckman’s No Frills on Saturday, Dec. 4.
