Local MP named to Conservative shadow cabinet

Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb has been appointed as Shadow Minister for Digital Government by Conservative and opposition leader Erin O’Toole.

O’Toole announced his shadow cabinet on Tuesday.

In a news release, Lobb says he is honoured to be named to the position.

He says he looks forward in working to bring modern and emerging technologies to deliver better digital services for Canadians.

Two other area MPs were also named to the shadow cabinet.

Perth Wellington MP John Nader is the Shadow Minister for Canadian Heritage.

Lambton Kent Middlesex MP Lianne Rood is the Shadow Minister of Rural Economic Development and Rural Broadband Strategy.
