Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers met with the team at the Georgian Riding Association for Challenged Equestrians on Friday.
He was there to formally congratulate them on the work they’ve done since receiving a 30-thousand-dollar Community Building Fund grant from The Province and the Trillium Foundation.
While there MPP Byers had a chance to see a demonstration of the therapy programs that are offered to persons with physical, emotional, and intellectual challenges.
GRACE used the grant to help cover the costs associated with the feed, care, and maintenance of the facility’s specially trained horses.
