Some local politicians are rolling up their sleeves to get their third COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker and Grey Bruce Health Unit Board Chair Sue Patterson (Mayor of the Town of Hanover) recently received their booster from Medical Officer of Health Dr. Ian Arra.

In a news release, the health unit says booster doses should be available within a couple of weeks.

They say appointments are currently being accepted, and the third doses to eligible residents will be administered through the hockey hub mass vaccination model.

More information on COVID-19 vaccines, and how and where to get one can be found by going to the health unit’s website.
