There was a strong local showing at the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick Tournament that was held over the weekend.
Both of the U-13 teams and the U-15 teams made it to the finals, after coming up on the winning side in games on Friday and Saturday.
Games for the tournament were played between Kincardine at the Davidson Centre, the Tiverton Sports Arena and Ripley-Huron Community Centre.
In the Finals it was the B Division U-13 Kinucks that came out on top over the Saugeen Shore Storm defeating them 2 to 1.
In the C Division the U-13 Blizzards took to overtime to edge out the Wingham Ironmen 6 to 5 to take that level’s championship.
