The regions unemployment increased last month according to monthly numbers from the Four County Labour Market Planning Board.
In December across the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region, the unemployment rate increased 0.4 percentage points to 3.6 per cent, now becoming the lowest in the province.
Last month the overall population increased by 400 with the labour force jumping by 700.
The biggest losses were in agriculture, goods-producing and manufacturing with gains in the service producing sector, information, culture and recreation.
