Local Wingham Home Builder Makes Sizeable Donation in Support of Refugees

Royal Homes $125,000 donation will mean that Refugees given "First Canadian Home Start-Up Kit" including kitchenware, small appliances, toolkits and other general household items.

Huron County Economic Development announced yesterday that Royal Homes in Wingham recently made a sizeable donation toward making refugees feel more at home in our Communities.

The $125,000 donation to Reception House, which is an organization in Kitchener that supports refugees during their first year in Canada. They connect them with government support and services, help fund them find housing, gain employment and help people navigate the resources, systems and services in Canada.

Royal Homes donation means that refugee families will be provided with a First Canadian Home Start-Up Kit which includes kitchenware, small appliances, toolkits and other general household items.
