It was another big year for the Alexandra Rose Long Table Dinner supporting the hospital.
Held over the weekend in Goderich at Courthouse Park many were in attendance with the total support for the hospital still being counted.
While the final tally is still being figured out, Executive Director with the Alexandra Marine General Hospital Foundation, Kimberly Payne says they’ve already gotten close to their goal of $210,000.
“I can tell you that our goal was $210,000 and were currently at $206,000. We’re close, we’re still entering that data in and of course if people want to make a donation they still can do that.” said Payne.
Payne noted the support of the community for the hospital continues to be overwhelming.
The hospital foundation has earmarked raising $600,000 to support a series of equipment for the hospital.
