The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority are issuing another water safety statement.
They say a low pressure system is continuing to track through the Great Lakes region today bringing with it up 30 millimetres of rain by Thursday.
They say soils are fairly saturated from last week’s snowmelt and water levels will be at or exceeding bankfull conditions.
Residents are being reminded to exercise caution near all watercourses.
The statement will remain in effect until Friday afternoon at 4.
