Man Arrested After Brandishing Knife to Police

A 30 year old man has been charged with a list of offenses after an assault in Kincardine.

On November 11th at around 4:15pm, South Bruce OPP received a report of an unwanted person at an address in Queen Street.

When police arrived, the suspect brandished an edged weapon to officers who after a brief struggle was arrested.

The 30 year old of Kincardine was charged with two counts of Assaulting an Officer with a Weapon, two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation, Resisting an Officer and Possession of Stolen Property.

The accused was held for bail and then remanded into custody.
