South Bruce OPP have charged a 27-year-old Kincardine man in connection with a break-in at a local business yesterday morning.
On Aug. 30 around 7:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business on Queen St.
Later that afternoon, members from the Grey Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a property on South St. During the execution of the warrant, some property stolen reported stolen from the break and enter was recovered.
Around 7:30 p.m., the suspect in this matter was located in the downtown core and they were placed under arrest.
The man faces charges including break and enter, theft over $5,000, failure to comply with a probation order and more.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton today.
