All is just about set this weekend for the Marine Heritage Festival in Southampton.
Launched with the Marine Heritage Society the festival is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of marine history across the shoreline of Lake Huron in Bruce County.
The festival includes food, live music, kids entertainment and beer gardens.
Deb Kaufman, Co-Chair for the Marine Heritage Festival says new this year will be a free shuttle service which will be a boost for the festival given how busy the area can be for the weekend.
“So that’ll hopefully help with some of the congestion, it’ll be running every half hour to my understanding. We’ll also have a free bike valet that has been provided thanks to the Town of Saugeen Shores as well.” said Kaufman.
The festival all kicks off tomorrow with a series of events, running all weekend long.
