Markdale Foodland has received a Platinum Foodland Ontario Retailer Award as well as an Award of Excellence.
MPP Rick Byers was joined by Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Lisa Thompson to present the awards.
For the last 35 years Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards have recognized the talent of retail managers and staff who build eye catching promotional displays to promote Ontario grown and in season fruits and vegetables.
This year 63 Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards will be given to 60 grocery stores across the province.
