The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has updated its masking policy in response to updated guidance from Public Health Ontario.

Beginning today universal masking will no longer be required at its hospital sites in Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton.

However, it is still recommended for all patients and visitors.

Masks remain required for patients and visitors in the Emergency Department waiting rooms and treatment rooms, in patient rooms and for patients with a cough, cold or fever.

Masks remain available for anyone who prefers to continue to wear one while in the hospital.
