The Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation received a donation of more than $20,000 on Tuesday from the Matt Huether Memorial Hockey Tournament.
The cheque for $20,258.03 was presented by the Young Bucks hockey team, which hosts the tournament annually in April, in memory of Matt Huether, who passed away in 2018.
The donation will be used to enhance their local Emergency Department by purchasing a Portable Cardiac Monitor.
