The next household hazardous waste event for Bruce County is heading to Mildmay next weekend.
The event on August 9th will be held at the South Bruce Municipal Building. Running from 8am-12pm, this allows residents to clear out any household hazardous material they have in their home, garage or basement and make sure its handled responsibly.
Items accepted include batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, fire extinguishers and pool chemicals while industrial, commercial and agricultural waste will not be accepted.
