The Municipality of South Bruce is warning Mildmay residents to stay away from the banks of Otter Creek in between Adam Street and downstream.

According to a release, “there is a high potential risk of flooding which could create hazardous conditions near waterways due to the potential failure of the dam.”

Both the municipality and the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority are monitoring the situation and updates will be posted to the South Bruce website.

They ask that you stay away from all watercourses in the Mildmay Area at this time, including parks and trails.
