Huron-Perth home sales were unsurprisingly slow in November: only 122 units were sold last month.
The number is down 26.5% from November of the previous year and is 22 units fewer than was sold in October.
The Huron Perth Association of REALTORS says home sales across the year are down 19.3% compared to 2021, as families continue to struggle with inflation increases. However, the average price of homes sold in November 2022 was down 6.4% from last year.
The number of available units is also increasing: there were 193 new listings in November, the largest number of new listings added in the month in more than a decade.
