Grey County has seen its name added to the list of Municipalities that have instituting fire bans in response to dry conditions across the Province.
Areas in Grey that have instituted the open-air fire ban include the Township of Chatsworth, Township of Georgian Bluffs, Municipality of Grey Highlands, the Town of Hanover, Township of Southgate and the Municipality of West Grey.
The ban covers all open air burning including campfires, agricultural burns and open-air burning of any kind.
All issued burn permits are also cancelled.
