Your eyes are not deceiving you, there are deer roaming around roads in Southern Bruce County.

There were a few spotted in the Point Clark area this past week.

South Bruce OPP Constable Kevin Martin says they received three calls of collisions involving a vehicle and a deer.

He says it is a good idea for motorists to keep an eye out during the early morning or early evening hours.

Martin says it is a bit unusual to see deer at this time of the year even though the weather has been warming up in recent days.

He says it is best not to veer for deer instead apply the brakes firmly and brace for any impact.
