MP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound issues Statement on the Passing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Alex Ruff issued a statement today following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II yesterday.

In the statement Ruff says they she was a remarkable leader and person.

Her empathy, leadership and devotion to her country, the Commonwealth and its citizens was unparalleled.

The fact she was a monarch for 70 years is unmatched in any modern monarchy and will likely never be equaled.

He adds that we all owe her a debt of gratitude and remembrance for her dedication to service and the great personal sacrifice she made over her 96 years.

The Queen’s son, the now King Charles II will be formally proclaimed King tomorrow.
