Alex Ruff, Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound is looking to organize a housing task force of his own to discuss the challenges finding shelter in the region.
Ruff is inviting stakeholders to an initial meeting this Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Sydenham Campus gym in Owen Sound.
In a statement, Ruff acknowledges the ingenuity shown by municipalities in trying to solve some of the housing challenges, but notes that this crisis transcends all levels of government.
Anyone wishing to partake in the meeting is asked to email Ruff’s office to register, at Alex.Ruff@parl.gc.ca.
