A number of Kincardine residents have voiced their concerns over the removal of trees at Dunsmoor Park.

The Municipality issued a statement saying a number of trees adjacent to Saugeen Street needed to be taken down.

They say one of trees is alive but it is in a section where future watermain replacement will take place.

The Municipality says they take the removal of tree seriously and that the municipal tree policy was created to help staff manage the planting, pruning and removal of trees on municipally-owned property, as well as to effectively preserve, enhance, conserve and manage the urban and rural tree canopy.
