With the wintery day today the Municipality of Brockton is reminding everyone to prepare their Emergency Kit to have on hand.
The basic items they say include:
- least 2 litres of water per person in the household
- food that won’t spoil including canned food, energy bars and dried foods
- a manual can opener
- crank or battery-powered flashlight
- crank or battery-powered radio
- first aid kit
- extra keys to cars and home
- some cash in smaller bills
- copy of your emergency plan or contact information
They close off to say if applicable to add prescription meds, infant formal or other require items if needed.
