The Municipality of Kincardine provided an update to residents on the Downtown Dig on Queen Street.
In the Phase 1 area electricians are working on resetting the streetlight poles to the new sidewalk elevation.
They are also pouring stamped concrete utility strips , and laying asphalt in the on-street parking areas.
In Phase 2 they continue to install new service lines into buildings on the west side of Queen Street.
Phase 3 areas see crews setting up construction fencing and pulverizing the existing pavement.
This will see upcoming work of installing & connecting temporary waterlines with water disruption expected for Lambton & Durham streets in that area on Monday.
