They say that his commitment to the community was anchored in his love of Goderich.
His passion, knowledge and enthusiasm are surely to be missed by all who knew him.
Kincardine Mayor Kenneth Craig said that he brought a friendly, approachable nature to his role on Council.
They added that he was always a teacher, was quick to share credit for successes, pointing out how fortunate he was to have the team he worked with every day.
His leadership & knowledge are going to be missed in Council Chambers and by the community.
