Municipality of Kincardine sees Acclamation in Ward 1 following Close of Nominations

Voting will take place in Kincardine via telephone and internet voting between October 17th at 9am and October 24th, the official election day at 8pm.

The Municipality of Kincardine announced today the Official List of Certified Candidates for the 2022 Municipal & School Board Elections.

Candidates could submit their nomination from May 1st at 2pm until Nomination Day, Friday August 19th at 2pm.

The Clerk has certified 19 candidates in total for the 9 Council races.

For Mayor there are two candidates; Kenneth Craig and Laura Haight.

Deputy Mayor sees three; Andrea Clarke, Gerald Glover and Uli Hack.

Of note is Ward 1 which has been acclaimed with Beth Blackwell and Doug Kennedy being the only two to run for the two spots.

Ward 1 will not appear on the ballot as a result.
