The Maitland Valley Conservation Area is welcoming everyone to the Wawanosh Nature Centre for its evening hike exploring the area and getting up close with nocturnal nature.
The hike will be leaving at dusk learning more about owls, bats and other animals typically seen at night.
There will be a short walk for families with young children and a longer walk for visitors who wish to see the entire River Trail.
The walk will take place from 7:30-9pm on August 30th meeting in the parking lot of the nature centre.
